ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE FOR TRANSFER (AS-T)
By successfully completing the courses for an Associate in Science in Mathematics 2.0 for Transfer degree at Cerritos College, students will gain a practical and theoretical understanding for future studies involving mathematics. This program provides a strong academic foundation in the field of mathematics, preparing students for upper-division coursework. As the role of mathematics continues to grow in the modern world, this program provides methods for finding solutions to problems in a wide range of sciences: science, engineering, and technology, etc. More generally, mathematics is necessary for understanding and expressing ideas in science, engineering, and human affairs. This degree is for seamless transfer to CSU.

ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE FOR TRANSFER DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of 60 CSU-transferable semester units.
- Achievement of a minimum GPA of at least 2.0 in all CSU-transferable coursework. (Some majors may require a higher GPA. Students should consult with a counselor for more information.)
- Completion of the major with a grade of "C" or better in each course or a "P" if the course was taken on a Pass/No Pass basis and the "P" is equal to a "C" or better.
- Completion of the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC).
