Automotive Tools and Equipment (Non Credit)
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
This program is an introduction to basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in the automotive industry. This introductory course will provide students with little or no knowledge of the regulations and standards to enter this field and build their skills necessary to enter a CTE pathway in the automotive field. The courses will familiarize students with safety, technique, and proper handling of tools. The courses also includes the creation of practical tools and focus on application of tools. Quality craftsmanship and tool building techniques will be covered in laboratory.
