CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Pre GED Certificate of Completion will strengthen a student’s basic skills to be successful in the GED Test and Preparation program. This Pre GED certificate is designed to provide additional support in basic skills, math, and reading to students who are at an elementary skill set level. The GED examination consists of social studies, science, and math. In today’s workforce having a GED certificate or a high school diploma is required for many employment positions and to transition to college level programs. In addition, basic skills are necessary to maintain most sustainable jobs.

Career Pathways
The Pre GED Certificate of Completion will prepare the student to successfully progress to the GED Test Preparation course and be able to pass the GED High School Equivalency Exam. This will facilitate advancement in the workplace as well as continuation of educational opportunities for CTE certificates and/or advanced degrees.
