CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
The Non-Credit Certificate of Completion of Vocational English as a Second Language is a two-semester program designed to prepare Low and High Intermediate to Advance ESL students for professional success. The VESL certificate combines courses in oral and written communications, workforce readiness skills, and leadership skills to enhance the student's professional skills and opportunities. Students will learn industry-specific vocabulary for vocations such as entrepreneurship and retail management, etc. English listening, speaking, reading, and writing will be taught using an integrated skills approach with the main objective being to help students advance in fluency and proficiency.
