CERTIFICAT OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Architectural Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Certificate prepares students to work as computer-aided drafting/ designers in industry and to upgrade the skills of persons presently employed as drafters/designers. This 16-unit certificate will train students in the major CAD programs utilized in industry.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Students can create a 3-D modeling environment with multiple views and dynamically view-edit a 3-D model.
- Students can use 3-D architectural software to design, model and document with given conditions appropriate for a project.
- Students demonstrate the ability to produce competent construction documents for building projects utilizing manual and digital drafting techniques.
- Students design, develop, virtually construct and administrate multi-disciplinary projects using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology.
