ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE

An Associate Degree in Industrial Arts Education provides students with an introductory knowledge and variety of technical skills and experiences necessary for undergraduate research and entry-level internships.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  • Student know how to repair basic automotive systems
  • Students understands blueprint reading up to the industry standard
  • Students design and troubleshoot basic electrical and electronic circuits
  • Students fabricates parts using manually operated machine tools
  • Student design parametric 3d parts and assemblies
  • Student fabricate wooden structures using the manually operated woodworking machineries
  • Students troubleshoot and optimize basic four plastics manufacturing processes.

ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Complete 60 units to include (1) the above required courses, (2) Complete the General Education requirements and electives to achieve a minimum of 60 units.
