Whole Residential Electrician (CERT)
CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT
The Certification of Achievement in Whole Residential Electrician Certificate is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to become a journeyman in electrical construction. The construction industry is one of the largest and provides excellent opportunities for high earnings, career advancement, and business ownership. Today, a journeyman license and an industry certificate are mandatory requirements for employment in these positions.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify the types of electrical loads for use in Non-residential jobs
- Identify the types of conductors used in the wiring systems
- Understand the use of the distribution equipment, including grounding, maintenance, and identification
