ASSOCIATE OF ART

The Real Estate program offers classes taught by working professionals highly experienced in their areas of real estate specialization. Students who satisfactorily complete the two-year course of study including additional graduation requirements, receive an Associate of Arts degree in Real Estate.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

  • Students analyze and calculate problems pertaining to basic real estate mathematics.
  • Students compare and contrast the various types of lending institutions.
  • Students compare various types of loans.
  • Students define the common real estate terminology and recognize acronyms in the industry.
  • Students list and explain the step-by-step process and legal requirements involved in the issuance of various types of licenses by the California Bureau of Real Estate (CalBRE).
